Final Episode

Kurt
"Where the fuck are they?"

Lucy
"We've been here, ready for half an hour Christ I can't stand this waiting."

Loud bang on the shop door.

Male Voice
"Open up, Police."

More loud bangs as the police try to force the door open. The men inside shout in Spanish. Two of them check the tunnel. There are shouts in Spanish that there are more men coming up the tunnel. One of the men opens fire into the tunnel. The door of the shop breaks open police enter. One of the mexicans opens fire hitting two police officers they shoot back a gun battle ensues inside the shop. Kurt gets shot trying to run towards the police shouting he's on Globetrotters. Lucy attempts to get back to the tunnel as Mexican troops come out one of the Mexican drug dealers jumps down next to her and shoots at the troops who return fire killing them both.Police and troops swarm all over the premises.
Cuts to Johnny back in the studio.

Johnny Paradis'
"I can't believe it! So close and yet so far! That's such a pity, made for great TV though. What a way to go out! That'll going to be on our Christmas special for sure. All Sami and Carl have
to do now is get the money back and get out!"
Then cuts back to Sami and Carl as they come out of the tunnel with the bags.The boy follows them everywhere. The same men are standing around waiting for them.

Carl
"Here it is this is everything that they gave us. We didn't count it but it looks like its all there."

1st Man
"I would expect it to be, Youve done what was required of you, there are people from your show out there."

Sami
"Have we won? Have we won? Please tell us we can't have lost to them two, please tell me?"

2nd Man
"We don't know, I personally hope you have won you deserve to, you did well. If you ever need a job why don't you come down to the border towns, I'm sure we could put both of you to good use and you could earn some good money, just something to think about."

Carl
"Thanks we'll bear that in mind."

They walk outside where a Globetrotter helicopter is waiting for them. The boy still follows them. A reporter and film crew are waiting for them.

Chris Henderson
"Welcome guys! Well done on completing the challenge."

Carl
"Have we won?"

Chris Henderson
"We're going to go back to the studio to announce that Carl. Lets get going."

Sami
"You must be joking right we have to wait to find out if we won! Oh come on, thats just ridiculous tell me you asshole, have you any idea what we've had to do? Have you any idea what I'm capable of doing?"

Chris Henderson
"I'm afraid I can't do that, don't know its a secret."

Carl
"Come on lets just get the fuck out of here. Say goodbye to the kid."

Sami puts her arm round the boy.

Sami
"He's coming with us. I'm going to keep him. He's going to be my little souvenir from Mexico."

Chris Henderson
"I don't think we can do that Sami, he'll have to stay here, I don't even know if there will be room in the helicopter."

Carl
"Are you sure about this?"

Sami
"I want him more than anything else we can adopt him I mean how celebrity is that? How cool will that make us look? We'll be rescuing our own little killer Just think about it."

Carl
"Well when you put it like that, come on son lets go."

Sami takes the boy by the hand and they walk to the helicopter. The boy smiles but still doesn't say anything. The Mexican gangsters standing around laugh as they get on board the helicopter.

Pilot
"We don't have the room for anyone else the kid can't get on."

Chris Henderson
"See he can't come, Its very touching Sami and it really shows your maternal side...."

Sami kicks Henderson in the gut and knocks him out of the helicopter.

Sam
"Plenty of room now, Go! Are you fucking deaf go!"

The pilot shrugs and takes off leaving Henderson standing on the ground shouting. Cuts back to the studio.

Johnny Paradis'
"What an ending! What a series folks! We'll have them back here soon when we'll let them know that they've won. I bet the suspense is killing them. We're going to have a quick word with Natarsha Metsacker who is outside the shop where Kurt and lucy are, Natarsha, can you tell us whats happening there?"

Cuts to Natarsha Metsacker in the street outside the shop. The street is crowded with police and ambulances and people having a look at what has happened.

Natarsha Metsacker
"Hi Johnny I'm outside the shop where Kurt and Lucy's bodies are, and where their trot around the globe came to an end, I think we're all quite shocked at whats happened to them. What a way to end their adventure, I'm joined here by Captain Duke Curzon-Howe IV."

Captain Duke Curzon-Howe IV
"Told you we would get them. I'd sooner have had them in cuffs right now but sometimes if you play with fire you get burnt. And you know to make things worse what they brought over, or should I say under the border was worthless."

Natarsha Metsacker
"Worthless so even if they had survived they wouldn't have won the game."

Captain Duke Curzon-Howe IV
"Chances are if we hadn't of got them the buyers would have, told you this is a very dangerous game. We were tipped off by sources in Mexico."

Natarsha Metsacker
"Thank you Captain and keep up the good work. We're just going to ask a few of the bystanders what their thoughts are on this, excuse me sir did you know two contestants from Globetrotters are among the dead?"

Bystander
"What, oh really? Thats terrible news. Who was it in there?"

Natarsha Metsacker
They are both dead it was Kurt and Lucy.

Bystander
"OH what! Thats a shame I had $50 on them to win. Suppose my money is gone now. That means Sami and Carl have won. I knew I should have put some money on them. I just knew it."

Bodies are carried out on stretchers in the background.

Woman
"Well I'm glad they got what they deserve, they were just horrible. What that Lucy did to that lovely man Jack just awful. But it has been a great show this year."

Natarsha Metsacker
"Some mixed reactions down here Johnny only thing we can say for sure is that everybody has really enjoyed this series, back to you in the studio."

Cuts back to the studio.

Johnny Paradis'
"This has been the best series ever I've never been so excited. What a finale ! What a last couple of weeks its been for our contestants! And now ladies and gentlemen I give you the winners of Globetrotters Sami and Carl!"

Sami and Carl and Pedro walk out onto the set. The crowd are all on their feet cheering and clapping. Ticker tape women in bikinis. They are given bouquets of flowers.

Carl
"Hey Johnny hello everyone! Whoooo! Yesssssss! That was an adventure and no mistake!"

Sami
"We did it! We did it! That was the best fun Johnny! And not only did we win we got to save this wonderful young man."

Johnny Paradis'
"I must say I think you are very deserving winners. You're what's best in our society, Sami and Carl, I'm proud to say I know you. You took on every challenge head on and didn't take a backward step all the way. When it got tough you showed your true colours. You showed us that fame and fortune always come at a price. And heres your price $20,000,000! How good is that?"

They are handed a large novelty cheque.

Carl
"I just want to say thank you Johnny, thank you to all the wonderful people who have helped us along the way, all the other contestants, you guys were great, you really pushed us. And a really big thank you to Globetrotters! You don't know how important this was to us."

Sami
"I just want to thank all our friends and family for their support all the way through."

Johnny Paradis'
"What a final this has been! We've had gun fights decapitations does it get any better than this? And on another note we've seen how Globetrotters brings people together, just look at those guys with young Pedro. It's so sweet it nearly brings a tear to my eye. What a show! what a series! We're back next week folks with our highlights show. Thats something not to be missed! And don't you worry we'll be back next year bigger and better with another amazing series of Globetrotters. Lets hear it for our winners Sami and Carl! Fame and fortune are all yours! And don't you deserve it? Whats the catchphrase people?"

The audience starts chanting now thats an adventure. Contestants wave cuts to closing credits for Globetrotters.

Episode 21

Johnny Paradis'
"I bet thats a lot harder than it looks. Just look at the sweat on those two. Why join the gym when you can push drugs up a tunnel thats the Globetrotters weight loss programme."

Turns to a different camera. We're going to leave them to it for now and see what Kurt and Lucy are up to.Cuts back to the warehouse where they are all still standing around. Hector is speaking on a phone.

Lucy
"When can we get started? We've been here for over an hour, I don't know if you are aware we are in a race. There's a lot at stake here. We really don't have too much time to spare. Don't want to be a pain but some of us are in a fucking rush!"

Kurt
"Whats the delay?"

Hector
"You can start now,there was a small problem, but it has been resolved.

Kurt
"Come on lets get started. We've wasted enough time already."

They begin loading the vacuum sealed bags onto trolleys pushing them up a narrow long tunnel. Semi dark lights hang from the roof. Its hot and sweaty in the tunnel. At the other end they pass the bags up to men waiting in an empty and shuttered shop. They go back and forth continually taking the bags. Cuts back to the studio.

Johnny Paradis'
"Both teams are hard at it now, Its Sami and Carl in the lead, they got going before Lucy and Kurt and they have the advantage in that they have less to transport across the border. The challenge stipulated $5,000,000 of contraband. We had no say over what they would be carrying over the border. Thems the breaks! I guess Kurt and Lucy are going to have to work twice as hard!"

Cuts back to Kurt and Lucy. They look hot and tired. Lucy looks around at the men standing around.

Lucy
"You could always help out you know it won't kill you."

Hector
"Why would we help ? You look like you are having so much fun."

Kurt
"Stop talking lets get back to it, we haven't got time to chat."

Lucy
"How about we pay two of your men half a million each from our winnings if they help us. With a little help we can do it. What'd you say?"

Antonio speaks to the men in Spanish offering them Lucy's deal. Two men respond quicker than the others and begin helping them get the packages over the border. Cuts back to Johnny in the studio.

Johnny Paradis'
"Smart move by Lucy, she knows how this game works, and she knows how to work people. Lets see if this evens things up. I do wonder though if they don't win what they are going to tell their brand new employees, somehow I think them saying sorry guys we've got no money isn't going to go down well."

Cuts to Sami and Carl. They have moved nearly all of the packages.

Johnny Paradis'
"And they're into into the home stretch. We just got word they are moving cocaine over the border and poor Kurt and Lucy got stuck with marijuana.I can imagine quite a few people will be fairly pleased that things aren't going all that well for them.They've got the last packages into the tunnel now and they are off over the border. For what could well be their last run.

Cuts back to Lucy and Kurt who with the help of the two men have moved nearly all the packages.

Johnny Paradis'
"They really are catching up now, this is getting to be too much, its so close. Somebody sedate me! I don't know about you but my heart is pounding!"

Cuts to Sami and Carl as they bring the last of the packages up the ladder into the garage. The boy is still with them. Filmed from their point of view.

Sami
"Thats it we're done, Send them a text. The sooner they get here the sooner we win!"

Carl
"All we got to do now is wait."

Sami
"He told us 20 minutes well the clock is ticking. Christ I hate waiting I just hope they hurry up. Shit I just thought do we have to count the money?"

Carl
"They said they trusted them I'm not counting the money. I'm just bringing it back and getting out of here as fast as I can!"

Cuts to Kurt and Lucy as they bring the last of the packages through the tunnel and up into the empty and shuttered shop. The two men who have helped them climb up the ladder into the shop.

1st Man
"Our money now."

Kurt
"When we win you get your money, now where are the buyers?"

The men standing around speak in Spanish.

Lucy
"What did they say? They're on their way aren't they? Don't they understand this's for tv? How many times do I have to say it? Just get me back to civilisation where people understand this shit!"

1st Man
"Soon they arrive, and we get our money."

Cuts back to Sami and Carl in the garage. There is a knock on the shutter door. One of the men opens it and a van drives in. Three men get out.

1st Man
"Where is the product?"

Sami
"Its over there."

The 1st man speaks to the other two in Spanish. One them goes over to the packages and opens one and takes small sample which he then tests. He nods his approval as to the quality. One of the men goes into the van and takes out two large bags which he opens to show them full of money. He hands them to Carl. They then start to load the packages into the van. The young boy goes through the bags checking it is all full of cash.

Carl
"Thats it we're done lets get back across the border, grab the cash lets go."

Sami
"I can't believe it this is the end we've done it I'm so proud of you Carl."
Carl

They pick up the bags and take them back down the tunnel. Cuts back to Kurt and Lucy in the shop.

Episode 20

Cuts back to Johnny in the studio.

Johnny Paradis'
"We can see that we'll check back in with you a little later on and isn't that what this game is all about, those two boys having lunch with Carl and Sami thats bringing people together the Globetrotters way I find that very touching, I really do. It almost brings a tear to my eye, almost, we've really got no time to spare though its all go,go,go it's the final, the last chapter in this years race to be named Globetrotters. Who's your money on? Who do you want to win? Our on line poll stays open for another five minutes, let us know what you think.So lets not waste any more time and get straight back into the action. It's Thursday morning on the border the final day and the final challenge is about to get under way."

Cuts to Kurt and Lucy's hotel a car pulls up with two men in it get one gets out and goes into the hotel a few seconds later they re-emerge with Kurt and Lucy get back into the car and drive off.

Kurt
"So what are we going to be taking across the border?"

Lucy
"Who cares?"

Kurt
"So what is it? I want to know."

The two men say nothing.

Lucy
"Talkative pair aren't they? He asked you a question, its good manners to answer when somebody speaks to you didn't you mother teach you that?"

The two men say nothing. One turns round and looks at them with a look of disdain.

Lucy
"Ohhhh if looks could kill."

Kurt
"Just shut up and leave them alone."

Lucy
"Fuck you Don't you ever tell me to shut up do you hear."

Kurt
"Calm down, we don't need any distractions now lets just get where we are going and not make any enemies along the way,thats all I'm saying."

Lucy
"No, you told me to shut up, so fuck you. I don't care how many enemies I make I never said I was here to make friends."

Kurt
"Ok, ok just focus ok, lets just leave it at that."

The driver turns to the other man and says in Spanish.

Driver
"What a pair of assholes!"

The car pulls up in front of a large rundown building. They all get out of the car and walk inside. They walk through the building. Men with guns stand around.

Lucy
"We're here this is it! I can't believe it."

Kurt
"I know what you mean, now lets listen carefully to what they say we don't want to make any mistakes."

Lucy
"You just worry about yourself, I'll be fine I don't make mistakes."

Kurt
"We fuck up with these guys and thats it we are fucked and I mean properly fucked. There are no second chances here."

Lucy
"Don't worry we won't fuck up its not in us to do that we've come this far and we are going all the way. We get whatever it is across get the money drop it off and get the fuck out simple. Then we sprint to the finish line."

Kurt
"We just get the agreed price we don't try to make on it we just get the money and go in and out as fast as we can."

Lucy
"For sure."

They walk into a second large room there are several men in the room and in one part a large pile of vacuum sealed bags.

Antonio
"Ah, here they are, welcome my friends glad you could join us."

Hector
"What you did was very impressive you just cost me $500 I thought you wouldn't do it."

Kurt
"Tell you what I'll pay you back out of my winnings, what do you want us to do? And what are we taking across?"

Hector
"You are taking those packages across. What is in them is not important, you don't need to know. You will take it through a tunnel we have built over to the American side. We have people there waiting, the buyers, they will arrive once everything is over there. Get the money and come back here."

Antonio
"Don't do anything stupid, don't get any ideas of disappearing with our money."

Kurt
"We won't we've too much at stake."

Hector
"That you have, that you have."

Cuts back to the studio.

Johnny Paradis'
"Well it looks like Kurt and Lucy are ready to get started lets see where are other team are and how they are getting on."

Cuts to Carl and Sami's hotel. They are waiting outside. A 4X4 pulls up and they get in. One of the boys is in the car along with the two men they previously have had contact with.

1st Man
"You have a new friend young Pedro here insisted on coming along for the ride I think he likes you."

Sami
"He's so cute I could take him home with me, just look at that face he is so adorable."

Carl
"Thats just what we need at home a psycho killer."

Sami
"Don't be like that, he's just a kid."

Carl
"Yeah with an AK47 and a penchant for mass murder sure the neighbours would love him. Hi Bob meet Pedro the assassin I wouldn't want to keep his ball Bob he may just fucking kill you."

Sami
"Don't you listen to him I think you're lovely, he's just being mean because he's jealous of you Pedro."

Carl
"Oh please I think I've heard it all now."

They leave the town and drive through the countryside. Eventually they stop outside a farm house. They all get out of the car and go inside. There are three other 4X4s parked outside and men with guns patrol the house and grounds.

1st Man
"Follow me please."

They walk downstairs into the farmhouses basement. Some men are moving a large cabinet across revealing a tunnel entrance.

2nd Man
"This should be easy. The tunnel runs under the border comes up in a factory unit. People are waiting there for you the buyers will arrive once the whole shipment is there."

Hands them a mobile phone.

"There is a number in there you send a text to it saying ok.They will get there 20 minutes later. You get the money bring it back here. This is a very small shipment and these are first time buyers from us. Simple eh?"

Carl
"You trust them I don't want to walk into some kind of police trap."

1st Man
"It's ok they all have family here in Mexico they won't do anything stupid."

Sami
"Lets get started the sooner we get it all over there the better."

2nd Man
"It has lighting and air conditioning, well air gets pumped in you'll be working in comfort. I think maybe two or three hours and you will be finished."

Carl
"Is that all two hours? Oh man I love you guys come on Sami lets get going."

They start loading packages into a trolley. Once it is loaded they push it down the tunnel. The tunnel is several hundred meters long lights hang from the roof every 10 meters or so. Its hot despite the so called air conditioning. The boy follows them. At the other end they unload the trolley and carry the packages up a ladder into a garage. There are several men standing around with guns. They are directed to put the packages on a palate.

Episode 19

Cuts back to the front of their hotel as Carl and Sami get into a van. Inside are the same three men as before and two young boys about 12 or 13 years old. Both the boys are holding guns and grenades.

Carl
"Whats this a family day trip brought the kids along for the ride, has someone packed a picnic?"

1st Man
"Thats very funny, if only you knew. But you're going to find out these two, they are our best. They go where others can't. Between them they have killed more than 30 men I would choose my words and actions with them carefully."

Sami
"Are you for real these are killers they should be playing with an xbox not an uzi."

1st Man
"Killing is all they know, they grow with it, its in their blood and we want you to accompany them to a restaurant that we know some people will be at, its simple you walk in with the boys and start shooting at everyone everything. No one will suspect you, you will be fine the boys are with you all will be good, trust me."

Sami
"This is a joke right, you can't be serious these two kids are going to help us shoot up a restaurant."

1st Man
"You seem more concerned about the kids than those we want you to kill."

Carl
"We don't care about them its about us, we want to make sure we get to win and like they say never work with children or animals."

2nd Man
"Here are your weapons. We will park a short walk from the restaurant it's an open cantina. You walk up and you start to shoot. Keep the guns behind you as you walk."

The van stops at a corner.

1st Man
"Walk to the end of this street and turn right at the corner on your left about 50 meters up the road you will see the place."

2nd man to the boys said in Spanish they both nod.

1st Man
"You know where it is don't you boys?"

1st Man
"Walk up to it slowly when you are a few yards away start shooting its simple."

Sami
Easy for you to say.

Carl
"Lets just do it and get on with the challenge. Fuck this is really pushing me to my limits. But I fucking love it. Just fucking love it."

Carl, Sami and the two boys get out of the van. All of them carrying guns. They walk around the corner and up a dusty looking street. Can hear music and laughter coming from an open courtyard which is the restaurant. They walk up to the entrance as they do so one of the boys throws a grenade into the restaurant and they all open fire. Chaos ensues people running screaming trying to get away from the hail of bullets. They continue firing until they run out of ammunition. The two boys throw grenades in then they all turn and run back to the van.

Sami
"Oh my god I've never felt so alive."

Carl
"I can't believe we just did that….That was amazing! Unbelievable!"

2nd Man
"See we told you it was easy, we'll take you back to your hotel. On Thursday morning we'll pick you up. You have a couple of days to relax now take in the joys of Mexico be a tourist."

Cuts back to the studio."

Johnny Paradis'
"This just gets better and better folks on the one show mass slaughter and decapitations ! What other show would give you this ? If you have the answer please keep it to yourself ha,ha,ha,ha no ones interested. Bill and Stacey what do you think about all this?"

Cuts back to the hospital room.

Bill
"Well Johnny I just wish we had a chance like those guys to prove ourselves."

Stacey
"These two teams are amazing. I mean both of them really have what it takes to win I'm just so impressed, I'm speechless I really am."

Johnny Paradis'
"Luckily I'm not because I'm the host of the show, thanks for your input guys I think we all agree these two teams are something special. Nothing is going to stop them from competing. We're going to see something very, very special in this final I can tell. We're going to briefly check in with our contestants and see how they feel."

Cuts to Kurt and Lucy in a bar having a drink. They speak with Johnny via their ipads. Images are broadcast onto the giant video screen in the studio.

Johnny Paradis'
"Well hello there guys how are you feeling after completing that little assignment for the cartel it was so good to see you not lose your heads ha,ha,ha,ha."

Kurt
"But we made sure they did didn't we ha,ha but seriously Johnny we're feeling really good really positive. I've never done anything like that in my life before that was really something I can tell you."

Lucy
"There was a moment there where I thought he wasn't going to do it but we both came through with flying colours. Carl and Sami had better watch out we're coming to get the big one. Ain't nothing or no one going to stop us. Not now, not after that."

Cuts back to Johnny.

Johnny Paradis'
"I can believe that. Lets just quickly check in with Carl and Sami and see how they are.
Johnny walks back toward the giant video screen. Cuts to Carl and Sami sitting in a bar with the two young boys. They speak with Johnny via their ipads. Images are broadcast onto the giant video screen in the studio. The two boys sit there staring emotionlessly forward."

Johnny Paradis'
"Hi, Carl and Sami, and hi to your two new friends. How is everything going now?"

Carl
"We're great Johnny really excited and relived that this part of the challenge is over and we are just really looking forward to Thursday thats when the real test begins."

Sami
"Weren't these two little guys great once you see them in action you know why the cartel holds them in such high esteem. We thought the least we could do for them is take them out and buy them lunch they won't take any money from us but we have ordered them ipads."

Johnny Paradis'
"And are you ready for Thursday? Have you got your games faces on?"
Sami
"Oh we're ready alright, its game on and we are going to give it everything we're ready."

Cuts back to Johnny in the studio.

Episode 18

Lucy
"Where exactly are we going? And what are you going to get us to do?"

Hector
"Where we are going is not important. You are going to meet a man who will ask you to do something, you say yes or you say no to his offer you are safe you have our word."

Kurt
"We trust you, we just like to know whats going on thats all."

Antonio
"You'll find out soon enough."

Car pulls up outside a warehouse they all get out and go in. They walk through a few rooms men with guns watch them go past.

Antonio
"These are the people we spoke to you about."

Man
"Welcome, my friends here have spoken to me about your position and your game I am willing to help you but at a price."

Lucy
"We haven't got much money and you said we couldn't just bribe you."

Man
"I never mentioned money, come with me please."

They all walk through to another section of the warehouse tied to chairs are four men. Several other men are standing around with guns.

Man
"They are my price."

Lucy
"What?"

Man
"The price of trust is their lives, their heads on a stick, on a plate I don't care you do that for me I will help you if you don't want to do that then we will say good bye."

Lucy
"What the fuck!"

Man
"Please don't swear bad language offends me."

Kurt
"You seriously want us to cut their heads off?"

Man
"They are Federal Police placing their heads around town sends a message to all those who think the police can protect them, when we are the real power here."

Kurt
"Look I don't give a fuck....sorry, didn't mean to swear, about killing people I'm ex military but...."

Man
"Their heads and I will help."

Lucy
"Oh sweet Jesus!...And what am I going to cut his fucking head off with my fingernails?"

Hector walks forward with two small chainsaws.

Hector
"We find that these do the job well."

Lucy
"Give me that."

The men standing around make comments as she takes the chainsaw. The chainsaws are already on.

Antonio
"Take their hoods off let them look each other in the eye."

Lucy
"Are you just going to stand there Kurt or are you going to help? Two each fifty, fifty all the way thats what we said. Don't let me down now."

Kurt takes a chainsaw from hector walks in front of the men with Lucy. Their hoods are pulled off. The men start pleading in Spanish.

Lucy
"It's nothing personal it's just business....Oh I've always wanted to say that, it just sounds so cold and heartless."

Lucy starts her chainsaw walks forward and puts the blade to the mans neck he's screaming she pauses a second then cuts his head off blood splatters the other men scream without a pause she beheads the second man their heads roll on the floor.

Lucy
"Your turn are you for real Kurt cos if I kill them all I take all the money, you hear I'm not joking."

Kurt
"Yeah ok."

Kurt walks forward the two men tied to the chairs are screaming and crying. Kurt stands there and pauses. He shouts and cuts the two mens heads off.

Kurt
"Globetrotters!"

Man
"I didn't think you would do it didn't think you had the nerve, I'm impressed. You two really mean what you say."

Lucy stands and shouts pointing the chainsaw at the men.

Lucy
"Told you, and you, and you, told you all nothing I won't do to win this game."

Man
"So it would appear, on Thursday morning we will collect you from the hotel and you will be able to help with the transport of our merchandise."

Kurt
"Thank you so much you don't know what this means to us."

Man
"Oh, I think I do."

Cuts back to the studio cheers and applauses.

Johnny Paradis'
"Wow what can I say? I'm just blown away, that really took some determination. "You're a braver man than me thats all I have to say after seeing that I'd be getting divorced on her terms and very happily too ha,ha,ha,ha. Be careful Jack you don't want to lose your head along with your other assets. Brian what are you thinking?"

"To be honest I'm surprised they were able to go through with it they've both gone up in my estimation of them, I still think they're scum but they've got what it takes. I suppose in a tight corner you'd want them on your side."

"I fully understand what you are saying Brian. They may have double crossed you guys but they seem to have what it takes. Things are moving along for Carl and Sami, lets see what they are up to shall we?I say yes, yes, yes I can't wait a moment longer the suspense is killing me."

Episode 17

Cuts to Sami and Carl with three men in a hotel room. Two of the men are very hard looking men one is very big muscular. The other is smaller and vicious looking. The largest of the men says nothing.

1st Man
"We have reached a decision after speaking with our boss."

Carl
"You aren't going to let us do it, are you ? Look what can I do...."

1st Man
"I said we've reached a decision nothing else now, listen to me there is something you can do for us."

Sami
"Anything we'll do anything we want you to have faith in us treat us like you would any one else who works for you."

Carl
"Thats right anything just name it."

1st Man
"Really anything, well we will see we'll see what you are willing to do and what you are capable of doing."

2nd Man
"We have a job for you, there are certain people who work for another organisation. We can't get close to them but you can."

Sami
"Get close to them and do what."

Carl
"Whatever they tell us to do thats what we'll do."

2nd Man
"We want these people out of our way....Do you understand what I mean? By doing this for us you will gain our trust it will make you like one of us."

Sami
"Are you asking us to kill someone?"

1st Man
"We are asking you to complete a small favour for us and in return we will assist you in what you want to complete you won't be going alone two of our best men will go with you and make sure everything goes ok."

2nd Man
"You will be in no danger no one will suspect you, you will be able to get very close to them and then you can kill as many of them as you can."

Carl
"We can do this, we will do this always said nothing we wouldn't do to win and this is really going to prove it."

Sami
"Is there anything else we can do, surely there must be something else, and if you can't close to these people why are two of your guys coming with us."

1st Man
"The choice is yours this is our offer take it or leave it."

Carl
"This is it step up or step the fuck off....If we want to stay in the game and win we have to do this, we don't have any other choice."

"Yes, don't worry about us we're both gun club members and I love to go hunting when I can."

That takes strength and moral fortitude it really shows how dedicated our contestants are folks in their pursuit for fame and fortune, You guys embody all that is good with this show and whats good in our society."

"I'm really impressed with them that wouldn't be easy to do but they've really stepped up. But I suppose they have to do it yet. Until then its all words it's their actions that are going to count."

"I don't know if I could do it, I mean thats a big ask I'm just glad I'm not in their position. They have such a difficult choice make. I don't envy them at all."

"Look their isn't anything we won't do to help you get your, your cargo across the border, we don't care what it is or for who it's for, we just have to be able to help you. This is our lives we are talking about."

"Thats right you just tell us what we need to do or how much we need to pay you, we don't want anything more than to help you in your endeavours and complete this challenge."

Hector
"It is not a matter of money with us. So don't insult us by trying to offer us a few thousand dollars. I watch the show you have what $30- $40,000 left that is nothing to us, this watch cost $20,000."

Antonio
"For us we need to know we can trust you and those cameras they are all switched off as agreed? We don't want to be on television in our line of work it's not a good idea to have people knowing what we look like."

Voiceover.

"Oh dear I suppose these guys should know the cameras are never off but I don't think now is the right time to tell them I think they may get a little bit upset."

"Of course they are, do you think we would do anything to put this at risk this is our one chance at getting at what we want."

"Trust me if you do anything to put our operation at risk it will be the last thing you do. We'll nail your heads to the border crossing, am I making myself clear?"

"We know what's at stake here, There's no way we would do anything to piss you guys off I promise you."

Lucy
"We want this to succeed more than you do, trust me this is everything to us."

Antonio
"Thats the whole point we don't know if we do or can trust you I mean why should we?"

Kurt
"What can we say or do to prove to you, you can trust us? You tell us what it is and consider it done."

Antonio and Hector whisper to each other in spanish.

Hector
"Maybe there is something you can do so that there is trust between us."

Kurt
"You name it we'll do it."

Antonio
"We will talk with you again tomorrow, we have to speak with certain people you will know tomorrow."

Lucy
"Anything you want us to do just like Kurt said you can consider it done and I mean that anything at all."

Hector
"We shall see until tomorrow goodbye, for now."

Antonio and Hector leave.

"We've got to convince them somehow I can't believe they would doubt us we're on Globetrotters for fucks sake, this is for television, the internet it's not just for us. There has to be something we can do to make them help us."

Kurt
"Well, they haven't said no yet I wonder what they might say to us tomorrow. I couldn't catch what they were saying."

Lucy
"That's if they ever come back, oh man I think we're screwed it can't just end like this, it just can't we can't come this far and not walk away with it all."

"They have to Lucy they just have to, but right now I need food and a drink come on lets go eat."

"Well,well,well it appears that this naughty, naughty couple have taken off their hats and jackets and stuffed them in a bag we have sound but no vision for you. So we aren't going to bore you with a black screen and indistinct voices, what we can tell you is that the games adjudicator is looking at the rules to see if this is so serious that they may be eliminated. A mitigating factor was the threat of death if they filmed the negotiators for the cartel and I'm sure that will be taken into consideration. They are however, in the same position as Kurt and Lucy in that the cartels have not agreed at this point to allow them to participate in their operations these guys are really big on trust aren't they? This is television how can they not trust the media? And they really should take into account we have a show to put on. Just think of the children and how disappointed they will be if we don't have a challenge. Come on guys do it for the children. I'm begging you. But don't worry folks we have a back up plan if they don't get to compete in this challenge. Remember though, this is Globetrotters and we've never and I repeat never, failed to have a challenge undertaken by our contestants. Money is not in short supply here, the Mexican drug trade is estimated at anywhere up $39,000,000,000 a year and last year there were nearly 19,000 deaths related to the cartels and the war on drugs. These guys don't mess around. Our contestants could be smuggling a wide range of contraband marijuana, cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, guns we really won't know until they meet their contacts inside the cartels and then comes the task of persuading them to let them help. They won't find out until they are trying to get across the border, then they must take payment for the shipment and get the cash back to the cartel. But as a bonus guys, anything you can make above the $5,000,000 asking price is yours to keep, though I imagine trying to barter with the buyers could pose a few problems.""

"We're so glad to be back home, I really can't put it into words that really was an adventure Johnny, that really was. At the moment we just need a few days to recover. Glad to be getting some decent food after two months of well eating something that looked like the dog threw it up."

"That really was an adventure you went on. We'll be crossing back to you guys later.Now, normally at this point in the show we recap what happened last week, as if anyone could forget, but tonight this being the final we are going to give that a miss, but don't worry on next weeks show we'll be going back through all the highlights from this series and do we have some highlights. However, before we go any further though we do have an apology to make last week two boats filled with illegal immigrants landed on Australian soil and we did say we would inform the authorities so they could be picked up. Well, in all the excitement we forgot. Our bad I know. We did eventually remember and after four days on the beach they were picked up, the majority of them were anyway. We'll be sending all of the survivors a Globetrotters gift pack. Its just our way of saying sorry we left you there with no food or water. Enjoy all the goodies in the pack. And now onto tonights show which is something special and I mean really, really special.It's especially exciting! We've saved the best until last. Applause and cheers from the audience. Cuts to a prison cell, what one imagines a prison cell in the Sudan would look like two unshaven young men in the cell talking into an ipad. A guard has another ipad filming the men.

"Johnny we are so excited to be back on TV with you on the final, it's a real privilege. I can't wait to see how this unfolds."

"We sure are, I'd just like to say hi to everyone back home. Thanks for all your support."

"Its great to have you guys back live with us. So how are things in the sensational, sultry, seductive Sudan?"

Simon
"Well, we got the verdict today in our trial and it wasn't what we were hoping to hear, I'm sorry to say we were found guilty."

Johnny Paradis'
"Oh that's just too bad I hope you can appeal."

Adam
"Oh we'll be appealing ok, but if that goes against us we'd like to auction off the rights to the executions to the highest bidder, no reason we can't turn this situation to our advantage. Fame and money Johnny fame and money!"

"That's what we love about you guys always looking at the positive, always trying to turn the situation to your advantage. If there is an angle in there you are the men to find it, you can see why these guys were chosen for Globetrotters can't you? Aren't they just great? Gentlemen I salute you. What an example to the youth of the world you are kids if you're looking for a role model you won't do much better than these two fine young men."

"Brian and Jack so close and yet so far. How have you been coping with the disappointment of your elimination?"

Brian
"We were so unlucky Johnny, wrong place wrong time and we got caught. We're dealing with it ok well speaking for myself I feel I am. And when you compare where we are to Adam and Simon it kind of puts it all into perspective. I think they are an inspiration after hearing of their plans its given me the motivation to turn this into a positive for myself and my profile."

Johnny Paradis'
"Thats very admirable Brian. And thats what great about this show not only does it inspire you our loyal audience to be better people but our contestants inspire each other. Jack
you've been through quite a bit how do you feel?"

Jack
"I feel doubly cheated once by, well I won't even say her name and then well my luck just ran out. Theres no justice is there I mean Kurt and Lucy should have been caught. But thats the way things go I suppose."

Katherine
"Oh you two have had it so tough, I nearly drowned and Derrick well he didn't make it and they still haven't got his body...."

Jack
"This is all we've heard it's me, me, me with her all the time. Get over it will you."

Katherine
"He was my partner for fucks sake you insensitive...."

Brian
"And this is all I've heard for days, these are two very bitter people, very self centred, I can't wait to get away from the pair of them."

Johnny Paradis'
"Well, well, well seems like things aren't all that happy on, just wait for the name of this place where they are being held, Christmas Island. Can you believe it? Isn't that something? Is it Christmas day there all day every day?"

Jack
"Funny name hey Johnny and this place is so hot. Nothing like where Santa comes from ha,ha but seriously everyone here has been really nice to us all the guards want pictures with us.
They bring their kids in to meet us. Why some of them are even bringing us in home cooked meals. Being a celebrity is just great."

Brian
"Yeah its true, the locals come down to the fence and have a chat, film us, get us to sign autographs it's been really great to be made to feel so welcome and popular here can't wait to get back home and really milk this for all it's worth."

Katherine
"Thats so true everyone here has been so kind to me in my time of loss...."

Jack
"Enough about Derrick, he's dead, gone, not coming back, we're all tired of hearing about him from you day and night. Just give it a rest will you."

Katherine
"Well I'm not listening to either of them, I'm going to start a memorial blog and Facebook page for Derrick and some footage I've got of us I want to put on youtube make a kind of documentary about his life, show the world what a wonderful man he really was."

Johnny Paradis'
"Just remember any footage of you and Derrick on the show remains Globetrotters property and can't just be used without permission fines for individuals and corporations do apply. We do have to protect our image and good name you know, but good luck with that Katherine. Derrick will always remain with us which is more than can be said about his remains which haven't been found yet I'd avoid the fish if I were you who knows what they've been dining on ha,ha,ha,ha. But seriously who do you think is going to win?"

Jack
"I want Kurt and Lucy to win Johnny."

Johnny Paradis'
"Really after what she did to you, you still want her to win?"

Jack
"Oh yes we're still married but we'll be getting divorced as soon as we can and I'm going to take her for every penny I can get that's why I want her to win just so I can take half her money."

Johnny Paradis'
"Method behind the madness Jack I like that I really do. Why you're a man after my own heart. We'll be cutting back to all our eliminated contestants throughout the show. Whats are catch phrase folks?"

"Those guys are superstars already just hope the can turn their trial into the main event. Best of luck guys you've been great! You've really lived up to our motto NOW THATS AN ADVENTURE! Anyway we have no time to dwell on the past. By good luck or good management we're not sure which Derrick and Katherine are nearly on Australian soil a small island in the middle of the ocean but it's land and its Australian territory and that's what they must reach to complete the challenge and that's all that matters to us.Derrick and Katherine! Land ahoy ha,ha,ha,ha."

Cuts to their boat close to rocks. Big swell. The people on board are beginning to panic. Newsreel footage used.

Derrick
"Thats right we are so close I can almost touch it. We're just going round to a bay where we can land."

Katherine
"Couldn't have happened at a better time really as the engine just quit so we are just letting the ocean bring us in."

Cuts to people near the rocks shouting and waving trying to warn them. Filmed from the
contestants points of view. Newsreel footage used.

Katherine
"And just look at that all those people coming down to meet us."

Johnny Paradis'
"Thats just great guys. But you are getting very close to those rocks not too sure if that boat will bounce considering its made of wood and those rocks are made of....rocks."

Cuts to the recent footage of the boat crashing into the rocks at Christmas Island. People in the water. The people on the rocks trying to help. Small boats trying to pull people from the water. Lots of film from the contestants point of view. The people on the boat are panicing.

Johnny Paradis'
"Oh my I don't know if I can watch. Who am I kidding? Of course I can, Ouch that has got to hurt Katherine and Derrick are really in a spot of bother now, I think I just saw our guys jump into the water I hope they are following safety procedures and have a life vest on. Safety on the water should always be a priority."

Helicopter lands has shows logo on it Globetrotters. Cuts back to studio.

"Just look at that folks we are on the scene already thanks to our tracking systems and thanks to OmniCam....Whatever you see we see. Lets go back to the island and see what our man on the ground Chris Henderson can tell us."

Cuts back to island shows more of the boat crashing onto the rocks. Aerial footage as well as newsreel.

"Thanks Johnny, this is sensational television I don't knowhow many are going to survive, there are a lot of people already in the water some are clinging onto the boat as it gets pounded on the rocks. The locals are trying to save as many people as they can the navy is here as well alongside the locals in boats all doing an amazing job of trying to save these people and risking their own lives in the process. No one knows what has happened to our contestants at this stage, all I can say it doesn't look good for them if they get out of the water the authorities are waiting for them. I think their trot around the globe is coming to an end one way or another. But it really does make for some great viewing. One of the locals here with me. This is a terrible tragedy what are your thoughts?"

Shows Chris standing next to a local man. He's middle aged. Can see other locals in the background taking pictures and filming the boat.

"It's just terrible....All those poor people they've got no chance in that water they'll be smashed to bits on the rocks, we tried and we're still trying to save as many as possible but there is only so much we can do....It's just awful."

Chris Henderson
"Did you know that two of our contestants were on board that boat?"

Local
"Really which ones? Was it Carl and Sami? I really like them."

Chris Henderson
"No it was Katherine and Derrick."

Local
"Oh really, that's a shame I really like Carl and Sami I'd love to meet them, but I suppose its good they aren't here else they would be in real trouble. I don't like Katherine and Derrick much, glad they aren't going to win now, be lucky if they make it out at all."

Chris Henderson
"Thanks for your time."

Cuts to Katherine being dragged from the ocean images from her cameras.

"Thank god....I thought I was going to die, where's Derrick?"

Cuts back to studio. Audience going wild.

Johnny Paradis'
"Well, that's Katherine safe and sound we can't get any images at the moment from Derrick maybe his jacket went down with the boat hopefully he didn't as well ha,ha,ha,ha, anyway what that means folks is we have our final two if they both land in Australia and avoid capture by the authorities. Who'd of thought we would lose two teams in this challenge, not me, thats for sure. Now lets see where are other two teams are."

Cuts to satellite map showing the two teams boats both very close to shore.

Johnny Paradis'
"Those guys have made great progress both nearly on shore and we have teams rushing to them even as we speak. Lets check in on them.Do you want to? I know you do? And more importantly I do and it is my show, lets cross to Rory Chambers."

Cuts to Carl and Sami as they reach the shore. People jumping off the boat huge empty beach. As they are pulling the boat ashore a helicopter lands. Globetrotters logo on the side. Camera crew and reporter jump out and run down to Carl and Sami.

"Carl and Sami you've made it you are the first team to reach land without the authorities catching you! You must be very pleased with that?"

Carl
"Thats just great I knew we could do it."

Sami
"There's no stopping us now!"

Rory Chambers
"And for coming first in this round you've won $500,000 each thanks to Coyote Media. How good is that?"

Sami
"Wow thats amazing! Thank-you Globetrotters, and a real big thank-you to Coyote Media."

Carl
"Really? That is just sensational!"

Rory Chambers
"Well I have one more bit of news for you so far this round two teams have been eliminated, and you know what that means? You are into the final! Congratulations!"

Sami and Carl jump up and down.

Rory Chambers
"Now we really have to be getting away from here and get you guys to your next destination on Globetrotters now thats an adventure! Back to you Johnny."

They run to the helicopter which takes off leaving all the boat people standing around looking confused. Pans out to show the the bush andscrub and the size of Australia there is nothing no signs of humans anywhere. Shows the boat people getting smaller and smaller as they fly away. Then cuts back to the studio.

Johnny Paradis'
"Thanks Rory we have our first finalists for this series and its Carl and Sami, they really have worked hard to get there and how about that prize a cool half million each how awesome is that? And don't worry folks we'll let the authorities know where these illegal boat people are, hey lets hear it for them what great....And may I say very, very cheap....Extras they made."

Applause and cheers from the audience.
"You are such a kind and wonderful audience and now lets go check in on Kurt and Lucy with our reporter on the scene Cristina Cox."

Cuts to Kurt and Lucy on the beach being interviewed as people get off the boat. Helicopter in the background.

"Kurt and Lucy well done you've made it ashore without the authorities getting you or dying how does that feel?"

"Always knew we would where did we finish?"

Cristina Cox
"Kurt and Lucy you've finished second in this round, but I think you'll be happy to hear two teams have been eliminated.And you know what that means.... You are through to the final! Congratulations guys."

Kurt and Lucy embrace and jump up and down.

"I just knew it, I just knew it once we joined forces that was it, there would be no stopping us, we've made it to the final and now we are going to prove that what we did was for the best."

Kurt
"For all we've been through it's what we deserve, you just and wait and see us in action in the next round. Who else is through?"

Cristina Cox
"Carl and Sami will be your rivals in the final challenge but, not only have you made it to the final, thanks to Coyote Media you will also pick up a cool $250,000 each for coming second in this round."

"Now we had better get you guys out of here and onto your next destination."

"The final is going to be something else we're going to keep the best till last I promise you that, and what an episode that was folks! Three contestants taken by the authorities, one still all at sea. Or should I say in it good luck Derrick we're thinking of you. Two teams eliminated in one show bringing our final forward by one week, just goes to show how difficult and dangerous that challenge was. A week on a boat sounds so pleasant but that was no cruise ha,ha,ha,ha, we have our two teams who next week we'll see battle it out for the big one in the final of Globetrotters! We'll be here next week with our final show for the year, will you? How could you not be? Carl and Sami and Lucy and Kurt are going to fight it out to be named the winner of Globetrotters. Episode 11

Cuts to a large ocean map and highlights the positions of the four boats with the contestants names.

Johnny Paradis'
"Lets fast forward three days and there's not much to separate any of the teams Carl and Sami still hold a slight lead but Kurt and Lucy are catching them up, and there is nothing in it between Jack and Brian and Derrick and Katherine they need to get a move on or it could be the end of the road for one of them, is your team lagging behind why not send them a message of support. You know they'll appreciate it."

Cuts back to Johnny.

Johnny Paradis'
"Seems like it's getting a bit boring a bit quiet just a leisurely sail across the Indian ocean. Give our guys a chance to relax take it easy well, all thats about to change. Lets cross back to Brian and Jack."

Applause and cheers from the audience. Cuts to footage of a crowded boat then Brian and Jack. Both of them have their ipads. The people on the boat have been there three days now a tarp is stretched out to give some shade. The pictures really conveys the conditions on the boat after a few days. They all look very tired stressed, haunted, scared. Shots from the contestants point of view. For a good few minutes the camera just looks round the boat.

Johnny Paradis'
"Brian and Jack, there have been a few developments since we last spoke."

Jack
"Thats right Johnny about four hours ago we had a plane fly low over us passed us then came back round a couple of times."

Cuts to vision of an airforce plane flying over the boat then back to the contestants. Pictures from the boat and from the plane. Newsreel footage used of a real boat. Jack and Brian are holding ipads.

Brian
"We know they saw us I suppose a lot of it will depend on if they have boats in the area. We're sure it's the Australians we're just going to have to try to outrun and outsmart them."

Johnny Paradis'
"Do you have a plan of action or are you just going to sail by the seat of your pants?"

Brian
"Our first thought was to change course try and throw them off that way. Zig zag around and lose them."

Jack
"Then we thought that's just what they will think we would do and we can't afford the time. So we're going as fast as we can."

Johnny Paradis'
"You think that's going to work?"

Brian
"Thats all we can do at this point its make or break for us."

Johnny Paradis'
"It sure seems like it best of luck guys."

Brian
"Thanks Johnny."

Jack
"We're still in this it's not over yet, and there is no way I'm going to let them two beat me."

Cuts back to studio. Applause and cheers from the audience.

"Those guys are still giving it their all I wonder if that will be enough? Or are they up a certain creek without the proverbial paddle ha,ha,ha,ha? Only time will tell....And once time has told us I guarantee you will be the first to know, actually I know something you don't they are in a whole lot worse trouble than they thought ha,ha,ha,ha lets to cross over to Natarsha Metsacker on board HMAS Bundaberg Rum."

Applause and cheers from the audience. Cuts to the deck of the ship of the ship. Lots of activity sailors moving around doing sailor stuff preparing smaller boats to launch. Goes to the bridge of the ship.

"Thanks Johnny. I'm on board HMAS Bundaberg Rum with Captain Napoleon Howard, Captain Howard the ship has become a hive of activity can you give us an update."

Captain Howard
"Certainly Natarsha Metsacker earlier on we received a report from a reconnaissance plane of a suspect boat to our west. The plane confirmed that it was an overcrowded boat carrying people trying to gain entry to Australia. Or as we call them SIEVs. We are on a course to intercept them in the next hour or so. No-one gets past us."

Natarsha Metsacker
"We know that one of our teams Brian and Jack are on board that boat."

Captain Howard
"I'm sorry to hear that Natarsha but their trot around the globe has ended and we're going to catch the rest of them too no doubt about that, as I said no-one gets past the crew of the
Bundaberg. Since they were spotted by our plane we've been tracking them they don't have a chance."

Natarsha Metsacker
"You heard Captain Howard, Johnny, looks like it's going to be coastguards one Globetrotters nil."

Cuts back to studio. Applause and cheers from the audience.

Johnny Paradis'
"I wouldn't count them out just yet, though that captain does seem mighty confident. Lets have a look at our satellite map and see how everyone is doing."

Applause and cheers from the audience. Cuts to a satellite map showing the positions of the four contestants boats and the naval ship.

Johnny Paradis'
"Sami and Carl still have a slight lead over Kurt and Lucy but they are closing the gap....Their experience may well be giving them an advantage as they look to sail into the final three. Derrick and Katherine are still lagging behind but are beginning to make up some ground on the others why do we say ground when they are at sea? Now there's something to ponder on, anyhow the real story of the moment is this, just have a look how close the Coast Guard are to Jack and Brian they really are in trouble. Sorry guys but that does'nt look good, they really are gaining on you."

Cuts back to the boat with Jack and Brian. Shot from the people on board the boat. Looking back towards the contestants gives the feeling of how cramped it is and uncomfortable. Lots of bobbing up and down as the boat moves through the waves.

Johnny Paradis'
Isn't that a great shot folks? That's our hidden cameraman Phil who's on board the ship. Can you spot him? I can't, but I can make him known to us he can hear me. Phil scratch your
head so we can see where you are."

"Phil can't see us but we can hear him, Phil what is like on the boat after nearly four days.

"This is absolute hell Johnny, it's hot crowded no room to move people have been ill since we left and this boat, I haven't felt safe the whole time. It creaks makes funny noises just doesn't feel right. I don't know what these peoples stories are but they must be really desperate no- one in their right mind would do this, its insanity. This is an absolute nightmare and I know it's a cliche but this is a floating hell. I'll be glad when we get through this one....I think I'll need a holiday after this."

Johnny Paradis'
"I think we all will Phil, I think we all will. This is just getting all too exciting."

First sight of the naval ship approaching. Causes panic on the boat.

Johnny Paradis'
"Do you see what I see ahoy there. Is that the navy? I think it is, prepare to repel boarders."

Phil
"I think it is too. And to be honest I'm glad to see them I want off this boat."

Cuts back to Jack and Brian.

"Can you see that it's a ship?"

Brian
"I can see it and they can see us, it's over Jack. Done and dusted buddy."

Jack
"We can still outrun them I know we can."

Brian
"This thing is not going to outrun that, we may as well make it easy, we're done."

Jack
"She beat me that bitch beat me I don't believe it, she beat me."

Brian
"They beat us, they played us and they beat us. We're through. I just hope they run them down too."

Cuts to naval vessel smaller boats being lowered heavily armed man aboard. Shows them moving towards the boat at high speed. Natarsha Metsacker is on one of the boats.

Natarsha Metsacker
"I'm on board one of the high speed boats that have run down our contestants, and we are about to come alongside their boat. Unless Jack and Brian can really pull something out of their hat their trot around the globe is over, I can see them they we are going to be escorted over to them so we can get their reactions first hand."

Cuts to the sailors boarding the boat again really shows the conditions on the boat the overcrowding etc and the condition of the boat. People on the boat are panicking some jump or fall into the water. The sailors slowly get all the people from the boat and transfer them back to the ship. Newsreel footage and aerial shots of the boat. Filmed from the contestants point of view as well.

"Hey look it is them at the back of the boat? We got the guys from Globetrotters. Look at them over there."

Sailor 2
"G'day fellas, wow you going?...We got them just like we said we would."

Sailor 3
"Sorry fellas just doing our job you know, it's nothing personal."

Jack
"Nothing we can do to come sort of an arrangement is there?"

Sailor 2
"No sorry mate we can't help you there your trot round the globe is over. Hey I got to say it!"

Brian
"Are you sure there is nothing we can do? We've got cash."

Sailor 1
"No mate we can't, you've got to come with us back to the Bundy. Hey reckon we'll be on TV?"

Sailor 2
"Mate bound to be, this is as good as it gets. Fuck I love this job."

Jack and brian board the same boat as Natarsha Metsacker she interviews them as they go back to the naval ship.

"Jack, Brian congratulations on a really well run race you made it to the final four and you're both still alive which is no small feat as you well know. How are you feeling right now?"

Brian
"Very, very disappointed we could've won this if we'd had just a little bit of luck. I mean these guys won't even takea bribe. I'm just finding it very hard to come to terms with this."

Jack
"It's hard to have come so far, you know been through so much to not get through now is very hard. I feel like I've let so many people down."

Natarsha Metsacker
"Well you can take heart that you gave it your best and on the plus side the penalties for this offence are not that bad. Why it's only a maximum 10 years guys."

Jack
"We were on Globetrotters this is for television, youtube, the real rules don't apply, I mean we're doing this so the folks back home are entertained, I'm sure the media will come to our aid. After all this is show biz. It's not like we are full time people smugglers or anything."

Natarsha Metsacker
"I'm sure you are right Jack and all that will be taken into consideration."

Brian
"We'll be fine, I'm not worried at all no matter what happens to us it can only be good. And that can never be a bad thing, like they say all publicity is good publicity. Now thats an Adventure!"

Natarsha Metsacker
"Indeed it has been."

The smaller boat arrives at the ship. Hoisted up sailors crowd around to see the contestants as the boat people are herded away processed on board etc.

"Gentlemen may I say on behalf of myself and the crew it's a privilege and an honour to have been the ones to have brought your trot around the globe to an end."

"Yeah, thanks you couldn't have gone after one of the other boats."

Brian
"How much did Kurt give you to come after us I wouldn't put anything past that bastard."

Captain Howard
"You never stood a chance once our plane spotted you, please believe me when I say its nothing personal it's a job."

"They are all off now and didn't Jack let us all know what he thinks about Lucy, she was no shrinking violet though was she ha,ha,ha,ha but thats what we love about Lucy. How long do you think those new alliances are going to last? I suppose only time will tell, or is it just playing into the other couples hands? We'll have answers to this and more right after a quick word from those good people at OmniCam."

Applause and cheers from the audience. Cuts to commercial showing CCTV footage of bank robberies, street violence etc voiceover. Changes to happy snaps and little videos done on phones.

Cuts to a screen divided in four Johnny in one corner a teenage girl in another talking on the phone a young boy in front of a computer and a woman cooking.

"Just look there's my family all safe at home I just love being able to check up on them whenever I want, and the best thing is they need never know I can have my eye on them all day every day, I just love OmniCam and now lets go back to our contestants. Its night time and they are now out to sea. Lets see how they are faring....Ha,ha,ha,ha....Faring....On the sea.... Seafaring....I'm wasted on you guys ha,ha,ha,ha."

Screen shows an Ocean map then satellite images zooming in on the boat at night until we are on the boat night vision camera shows the faces of the people on board the noises and movement of the boat choppy seas, on board conditions looks appalling. Shot from the contestants point of view then goes split screen to show Johnny and the contestants same as on Skype.Carl and Sami are at the back of the boat ipads in their hands.

Johnny Paradis'
"Lets check in on Carl and Sami our first contestants to set sail to the promised land. Evening guys how's it going out there on the big blue sea? Are you bobbing along nicely?"

Carl
"Hi Johnny, it's going quite slowly here we had quite a strong head wind most of the day and that slowed us down a bit but we seem to be making good progress now. Hey Johnny have the others left yet? Are any of them ahead of us?"

Johnny Paradis'
"Carl, Carl, Carl you know I can't tell you where any of the others are. Nice try though buddy. And what about you Sami how's the journey so far?"

Sami
"Hi Johnny, Been a very long day lucky for us we haven't been too sea sick....Which is more than I can say for a lot of these people on the boat....God only know what they've been cooking back there, but the smell oh my God! Words can't describe it and I still can't quite figure out why, if you get sea sick, why you'd travel by sea? Get on a fucking plane for Gods sake."

Sami suddenly turns round and throws up.
"Oh God....I hate this fucking boat! I Fucking hate it! I don't know how much more of this I can take."

Sami throws up again.

Johnny Paradis'
"A life on the ocean waves hey Sami doesn't seem to be going down to well with you in fact its all coming up ha,ha,ha,ha we'll catch up with you guys a little later on, why don't we see what's happening with our other competitors."

"Hello there. Kurt and Lucy, how are things going? Is this very new and very controversial alliance you've formed working in your favour? Or have you just antagonised the others and made yourselves new enemies?"

Kurt
"What new enemies Johnny? We've all been enemies since day one. No friends here except your team mate and even then, well things change, but look things are going great for us we've
made good progress. Best thing either of us could have done is to ditch those two losers. Lucy has just been great."

Lucy
"It was the right thing to do Johnny Brian and Jack would have held us back....It just had to be done this is all about winning that was true on day one when we started out with Brian and Jack and its true now. Thats why we did what we did. This is way too important to let sentiment get in the way Johnny, this is about fame this is about winning and money money. And really what else matters."

Johnny Paradis'
"I hear that Lucy we'll be back with you guys real soon to see how you are going."

Kurt & Lucy
"Bye Johnny....Hey Johnny NOW THATS AN ADVENTURE!"

"It sure is Kurt and Lucy it sure is, now for some reason we are having real trouble in getting a signal from Brian and Jacks boat so we can't hear from them directly but we do have our satellite images."

Cuts to satellite image of a small boat at sea continues zooming in until the people look about 10 feet away. Can see one of the contestants leaning over the side.

Johnny Paradis'
"I can make out....Brian....I'm pretty sure it's him it looks like him well it's definitely one of our guys you can tell by the jacket he doesn't seem to be doing so good though does he
folks? As soon as we can we will cross to Brian and Jack and see how they are doing. And last but my no means least we are going to cross to Derrick and Katherine."

"Hi there, Derrick and Katherine how are you both feeling?"

Derrick
"We've both been quite sick. We've managed to keep the boat on course, well I hope he's been able to , thats why we paid so much. But I don't think we are getting very far....It's just so hard to work out distance out here."

Katherine
"Johnny this has really been hard. By far the hardest challenge yet and we've only just started. I've been sick, I'm just exhausted, I don't think we'll get much sleep over the next few days."

Johnny Paradis'
"You just hang in there you are so close to making the final three you can't give up now."

Katherine
"No way are we even thinking of giving up now Johnny no matter how hard it gets we're going to see this through."

Derrick
"We're going through Johnny, this is tough no doubt about it but we'll be there at the end. We're going to walk away with all the money. No one or nothing is going to stand in our way."

"That folks is the spirit we look for in all our contestants. No matter how hard it gets they just keep on going, I'm proud of you guys the whole world is proud of you.Well it really looks like some of our contestants are beginning to hit the wall. This challenge is really taking it out of them and I just love to see that. This is where this show separates the men from the boys and the girls from the women."
